VALORANT is not just evolving its gameplay, it is changing how fans watch esports altogether. Riot Games has unveiled a groundbreaking new Twitch extension called Shotcall, designed to let fans dive deeper into the action by making real-time predictions during the VALORANT Champions Tour.

Launched as part of a beta rollout, Shotcall kicks off on August 8 and will be tested over four Fridays exclusively during the VCT Americas Stage 2 stream. And this is not just another gimmick. Shotcall offers viewers the power to call the shots live during matches. Want to guess who wins the next round or predict that insane clutch play before it happens? Now you can and earn points and rewards while doing it.

Shotcall is only available on desktop for now, but it is already turning heads with its seamless integration. When watching the official Twitch broadcast, just hover your mouse over the stream and tap the glowing red crystal ball icon. This activates the Shotcall interface where you can log in using your Riot ID and begin making predictions before each upcoming round, map, or high-stakes clutch moment. Even with the extension minimized, predictions will fly out across the video, keeping the energy flowing and the engagement high.

If your prediction is right, you score points and climb the leaderboard. But this is not just about bragging rights. Riot is rolling out real rewards for beta testers across the four event days August 8, 15, 22, and 29. And if the early response is strong, expect bigger, flashier prizes in the future. The best part? Riot is already looking to expand Shotcall across more regions and languages, turning this into a global esports gamechanger.

This isn’t just a feature. It’s a full-blown evolution in the way fans experience competitive gaming. VALORANT’s VCT broadcasts have always delivered high-intensity matchups, but Shotcall adds a whole new layer of tension. Now you are not just watching the best players in the world you are playing alongside them, testing your instincts, and winning prizes for your esports IQ.

This is Riot’s latest step in turning spectators into participants, giving fans agency and involvement like never before. The company is also encouraging direct feedback during the beta. After each map, a short survey will be shared to help fine-tune Shotcall based on what the community loves or thinks could be better.

To try it out, make sure you are tuned in to one of the official VCT Americas Twitch channels, enable the Shotcall extension from the video player, and get your predictions ready. If the icon does not appear right away, head to the extension control panel on the stream’s top right and switch Shotcall to visible.

Shotcall has just raised the bar for esports broadcasts. Interactive, rewarding, and deeply immersive, it is built to fuel the fandom and reward those who live and breathe the game.
