Fnatic has confirmed its VCT 2026 lineup during the INZONE Clash in London, introducing Sylvain “Veqaj” Pattyn as its newest player. Veqaj made his debut on November 9 against GIANTX, helping the team secure a 2-1 victory in his first series.
A New Era for Fnatic
Replacing fan favourite Timofey “Chronicle” Khromov, who transferred to Team Vitality, Veqaj joins a roster led by Jake “Boaster” Howlett with Alfajer, kaajak and crashies rounding out the lineup. The French initiator impressed by rotating through three roles — sentinel, controller and duelist — while posting a 45/39/5 KDA. At just 22, he represents Fnatic’s next bet on emerging talent.
A Proven Development Path
Fnatic has a track record of nurturing Tier-2 prospects into international stars. Players like kaajak and kamyk are proof that youthful signings can flourish under Boaster’s guidance. Head Coach Milan de Meij and assistant Benjamin Hutchinson will lead the team into another high-stakes season.
Looking Ahead
Fnatic next competes at Red Bull Home Ground 2025 in New York from November 13 to 16. The event will stream live on Red Bull Gaming’s Twitch and YouTube channels, giving fans their first extended look at the new roster in action.
