Valorant esports teams vie for spots in three global events—Masters Madrid, Masters Shanghai, and Champions—as part of their journey through VCT. To secure qualification, teams must navigate through Kickoff, Stage 1, and Stage 2 events. Additionally, Riot Games has introduced an avenue for an extra team to advance to Champions through Championship Points earned based on a team’s overall season performance. The season's inaugural event, VCT Pacific Kickoff, will determine the teams advancing to Masters Madrid.

VCT Pacific Kickoff 2024 Format

Taking place over eight days at the S Factory in Seongdong-Gu, Seoul, South Korea, VCT Pacific Kickoff will feature a total of 19 matches. The tournament unfolds in three stages, commencing with the group rounds employing a GSL format. Eleven teams, randomly seeded into three groups, vie for supremacy, with group winners progressing to the winner’s bracket. Concurrently, a loser’s bracket offers teams a shot at redemption. PRX, as the Pacific Champions of 2023, automatically joins Group C.
