Turtle Beach is back with a fresh weapon for competitive gamers   the Victrix Pro BFG Reloaded. This updated version of the acclaimed Victrix Pro BFG is here to tempt PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One players with more comfort, more customization, and unfortunately, a higher price tag.

The big change? A redesigned fighting game module built with fighting game fans in mind. Turtle Beach says it has been ergonomically optimized so players can rest their wrists comfortably on the grip while going arcade-style with their button presses. It is a subtle but potentially game-changing tweak for those who spend hours in intense matches.

Just like its predecessor, the BFG Reloaded is all about modular freedom. You can swap out components including a reversible thumbstick and d-pad, experiment with custom thumbsticks and caps, and enjoy drift-resistant Hall effect analog sticks that promise long-lasting precision. The rear triggers, also powered by Hall effect sensors, allow for customizable sensitivity, while four mappable back buttons put extra controls right where you need them.

The controller comes in black and white color options, with models tailored for either PlayStation or Xbox consoles, both fully compatible with Windows. It boasts up to 20 hours of battery life, a 30-foot wireless range, and includes a 3-meter braided USB-C cable for those who prefer to play wired. You also get a 3.5mm headphone jack for direct audio connection.

But it is not all good news. The BFG Reloaded still skips haptics and adaptive triggers   features that could have pushed it into true next-gen territory. And with a price of $209.99 in North America, £179.99 in the UK, and €199.99 in the EU, it is now even more expensive than the original Pro BFG. That extra cost might sting for those hoping for a full feature set, especially when Turtle Beach’s own Stealth Ultra offers haptics at a similar price point.

The Victrix Pro BFG Reloaded officially launches in North America on September 28, while gamers in the UK and EU can grab it now. Whether it justifies the price will depend on how much you value modular design, fighting game comfort, and premium build quality over missing next-gen features.
