A Rocket Pass Like No Other
Epic Games has officially launched Rocket Pass 20, and fans are already calling it the best one yet. Unlike past seasons, this pass features not one but two licensed car bodies — the Pontiac Firebird and the Chevrolet Astro Van. On top of that, it includes incredible Sonic the Hedgehog-themed cosmetics, like a special goal explosion and Sonic-powered rims that spin with a miniature Sonic running inside.
The Rocket Pass will run until December 10, 2025, and is available for 1,000 Credits or through a Fortnite Crew subscription.
Easier Progression and Bigger Rewards
Epic has also fine-tuned how progression works this season. XP gains are higher, making it easier for players to unlock items just by playing matches. The grind has been rebalanced too, with major rewards like the Astro Van available by rank 33 instead of rank 40. Even more appealing, the full set of Rocket League Credits included in the pass can now be unlocked by rank 69 instead of rank 100.
This pass also delivers three unique goal explosions, including the Sonic one, which has already become a fan favorite. With all these updates, players are finding Rocket Pass 20 to be more rewarding and accessible than ever before.
A Game-Changer for Fortnite Players
What makes this Rocket Pass especially exciting is its crossover with Fortnite. Items unlocked in Rocket League, such as the Astro Van and Pontiac Firebird, will also carry over to Fortnite. This makes the Astro Van the first SUV body in Fortnite not locked behind the item shop, offering players exclusive customization options.
Even the Sonic wheels and other boosts and decals are expected to transfer, giving Fortnite players massive value from a single subscription. Unlike Fortnite’s seasonal passes, the Rocket Pass will remain yours permanently even if your Fortnite Crew subscription expires.
