Rockstar Games has recently announced a community event of their own for Red Dead Online. It features in-game currency, bonus XP and rewards to keep you looking great and exclusive cosmetic DLC.
Launching Community Events
The exclusive Jungle Explorer outfit is unlocked through participation in free-roam events, as explained at RockstarGames.com. It comprises:
Barras Vest and Worsted Coat for men
Classic Frock Coat and Iniesta Shirtwaist for women
Everyday Shirt for men, and Ascot Tie
Tuxedo Pants for men, Bandito Pants for women
Cavalry Boots for men, Lumber Boots for women
If you log in during the event--which runs until September 2, 2024--you'll get a free black Patterned Bandana. Completing a round of Salvage or Condor Egg free roam events will give you a free purple Gardenia Hat. Additionally, completing a three-day streak of Daily Challenges will see players awarded with a free emote.
New Rewards and Free DLC
By choosing to release periodic community events in Red Dead Online, Rockstar ensures that their player base gets fresh content and rewards. The latest event, now referred to simply as The Collector Free Roam will see players receiving multiple bonuses. They will get triple RDO$ (the in-game money) and tiered XP: you can also pick up free clothes content like the new Jungle Explorer Outfit online throughout these activities or with a visit to Wheeler, Rawson and Co.'s Catalogue.
Red Dead Redemption 2 Background
A prequel to the 2010 game that took the world by storm, where players become John Marston. John's character, Arthur Morgan, is central here and Red Dead Redemption II dictates how this character arrives and dies yet tells us little about the early life.
This highly expanded version of the 2010 original is known as Red Dead Redemption 2 and is often hailed as one of the best video-games ever made for its immersive world.
“Red Dead Online” from Rockstar Games is a much-loved franchise which has also made the company substantial wealth. It doesn't have anywhere near Red Dead Online's popularity, thanks in large part to GTA 5′s enduring appeal since that title yielded such staggering financial success. Compiling the company's updates for Red Dead Online over quite some time now, it really starts to reach impressive heights when comparing with how little Rockstar Games are providing.
Red Dead Redemption 2 and Red Dead Online are available for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
