Popucom has quietly become one of the most charming co op experiences in recent memory. With its colorful world and four player team mechanics, the game has attracted a growing community across PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC. Now, with the release of Version 1.0.2, players can expect a more stable and polished experience across all platforms.

Developer Hypergryph has rolled out the latest update, addressing several issues that were frustrating the player base. One of the biggest fixes targets a long standing issue where achievements were not unlocking for certain players during online co op sessions. With this patch, achievements like Oops, Slippery Fingers should now function properly for the host player.

Steam Deck users can also breathe a sigh of relief. The game was previously crashing on launch for many users, making it unplayable on the handheld device. Version 1.0.2 includes a fix for this launch issue, along with additional compatibility improvements planned in the future.

For fans who love tackling Popucom's stages with friends, the Glacier Weather Station has received some much needed attention. A problem involving an occasional reset of Prismatetra in this stage has been resolved. There was also a bug that caused Player 2 to get stuck at certain respawn points, effectively halting progress. That issue is now patched, ensuring uninterrupted gameplay.

Online co op has also seen an improvement when it comes to friendly fire. Players can now fully disable damage between teammates, allowing for smoother and more cooperative sessions without the accidental chaos. This tweak adds a new level of control for hosts running custom co op lobbies.

In addition to gameplay enhancements, the patch improves the network setup for Steam users. This should reduce random network warnings during cross platform play and stabilize connections, especially for those who were experiencing false alerts despite having a strong connection.

Popucom continues to evolve with each update, and Version 1.0.2 shows that the developers are listening closely to the community. As the game grows, these kinds of fixes are essential for keeping the co op adventure both fun and frustration free.
