With the conclusion of the PUBG Mobile World Cup (PMWC) 2024 Survival Stage, the 16 teams for the Grand Finals have been finalized. The Grand Finals, also known as the Main Event, will take place from July 26 to 28, 2024, featuring 18 matches across three PUBG Mobile maps.

Event Overview

The PMWC 2024 boasts a total prize pool of $3 million, with $1.5 million allocated to the Grand Finals. The Group Stage and Survival Stage awarded $1 million and $380,000, respectively, with $120,000 set aside for special prizes such as the MVP award.

Group Stage Highlights

The Group Stage, held from July 19 to 21, 2024, featured 24 teams in a round-robin format. The top 12 teams progressed to the Grand Finals. Yoodo Alliance led the Group Stage, followed by Tianba Esports and 4Merical Vibes. Team Liquid also secured their spot with impressive performances.

 

Survival Stage Highlights

The Survival Stage saw IW NRX from Turkey top the overall rankings, followed by DRX from South Korea and TJB Esports from China. Twisted Minds narrowly made it to the Finals.

 

Notable Misses

Unfortunately, renowned squads like Team Falcons and Dplus KIA did not advance, missing qualification by a slim margin. The bottom 12 teams in the Survival Stage have been eliminated from the competition.
