Group Stage Begins in Riyadh

The Group Stage of the PUBG Mobile World Cup (PMWC) 2024 kicks off on July 19 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this initial stage, 24 teams have been randomly divided into three groups. On Day 1, Group Red and Group Yellow will face off in six matches. Each group will play 12 matches over three days.

Advancing to the Next Stages

The top 12 teams from the overall scoreboard will advance to the main event, the third stage of the tournament. The bottom 12 teams will enter the Survival Stage, where they will compete against four teams seeded directly from regional events.

Day 1 Schedule

Group Red and Group Yellow will play their first match on the Sanhok map at 4:30 PM IST. The second, third, and fourth matches will take place on the popular Erangel map. The day will conclude with two matches on the Miramar map.

  • Match 1: Sanhok - 4:30 PM IST
  • Match 2: Erangel - 5:10 PM IST
  • Match 3: Erangel - 5:55 PM IST
  • Match 4: Erangel - 6:40 PM IST
  • Match 5: Miramar - 7:25 PM IST

The PMWC 2024 will be live-streamed in multiple languages on the PUBG Mobile Esports and Esports World Cup YouTube channels, as well as on Twitch and Facebook, starting at 4 PM IST.

Teams to Watch

Each team aims to start strong in the PMWC 2024 and secure a spot in the main event. With a prize pool of $3 million, the competition is fierce.

  • REJECT, the PMGO 2024 champions, have a great chance to win their second consecutive global title.
  • IHC Esports from Mongolia, the PMGC 2023 champions, are also strong contenders for another major trophy.
