Krafton's Plans for Expansion

Kim Chang-han, the CEO of Krafton, has announced in a Bloomberg Technology interview that a sequel to the immensely popular game PUBG Mobile is currently in development. This news comes as the Battle Royale genre continues to dominate the mobile gaming market, with PUBG Mobile leading the charge.

 

Diverse Media Ventures

In addition to the sequel, Krafton is venturing into new territory with the development of The Callisto Protocol, a horror game set approximately 300 years into the future within the PUBG universe. The expansion doesn't stop at games; Chang-han also disclosed plans for animations, webtoons, dramas, and movies based on the PUBG franchise, indicating a broad vision for the brand's future. The company is actively seeking talented teams to bring these ambitious projects to life.
