Nova Esports has emerged triumphant in the PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO) 2024 Peacekeeper Elite League (PEL) qualifiers, showcasing exceptional skill and teamwork throughout the event. Held offline from 8th to 10th March, this qualifier featured the top 16 teams from the first two weeks of the PEL 2024 Spring tournament. Nova Esports' stellar performance has earned them a coveted spot in the PMGO 2024 main event, which will take place in Sao Paulo, Brazil, later this year. This marks Nova Esports' return to the global stage after an absence of over a year.

 

PMGO 2024 PEL Qualifiers Overview

Nova Esports demonstrated dominance throughout the qualifiers, clinching the top spot with an impressive 161 points, including 97 elimination points. Despite Weibo Gaming's strong start on Day 1, Nova Esports maintained their lead, securing victory with their consistent performance. Weibo Gaming finished in the second spot with 139 points and 83 elimination points, while Four Angry Men secured the third spot with 136 points and 85 elimination points.

 

Other notable performances include The Chosen squad in fourth place with 127 points, followed by Kone Esports in fifth place with 121 points. Vision Esports and Thundertalk secured the sixth and seventh positions, both with 119 points. Team Pai finished eighth with 118 points, followed by LGD Gaming and Tong Jia Bao Esports in ninth and tenth place, with 106 and 97 points, respectively.


Impressive Performances by Nova Esports

Nova Esports' triumphant return to the global stage was fueled by outstanding performances from Zeng "Order" Zehai and Zhu "Paraboy" Bocheng. Order, in particular, showcased exceptional skills, securing an impressive 33 finishes and earning the MVP title.
