Krafton, the mastermind behind PUBG Mobile Esports, has revealed an exciting roadmap for the South Korean esports scene in 2024. The company plans to host multiple official events throughout the year, providing regional teams with opportunities to compete on the international stage. The inaugural event, PMPS Season 0, will kickstart the action-packed year, with the top clubs vying for a slot in the prestigious PMGO Brazil tournament.

 

Roadmap and Calendar for PUBG Mobile Esports South Korea 2024

 

 

1. March: PMPS Season 0

  • Dates: March 1 to 3, 2024
  • Details: The Pro Series Season 0 will determine the representative for the PMGO Main Event, slated for April 5 to 7, 2024. This global event offers a staggering cash prize pool of $500,000, attracting elite clubs from around the world.

 

 

2. April and May: PMPS Season 1

  • Details: Following the PMGO, PMPS Season 1 will commence in April and May. South Korean teams will battle fiercely for supremacy, although specific details about this tournament are yet to be disclosed.

 

3. June: PMRC

  • Details: June 2024 will witness the Rivals Cup, featuring the top eight clubs from South Korea and Japan. This tournament holds significant importance for both countries, with teams competing for glory. However, the selection process for participating teams has not been specified by Krafton.

 


4. July and August: PMWI and PMPS Season 2

  • Details: In July, the PUBG Mobile World Invitational will gather teams from across the globe in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, offering a mammoth prize pool of $3 million. South Korean squads will fiercely compete in this prestigious event. Subsequently, PMPS Season 2 will commence and conclude in August.

 

5. September and October: PMPS Season 3 and PMRC

  • Details: September will mark the beginning of PMPS Season 3, continuing through October. Additionally, the second Rivals Cup of the year is scheduled for October 2024
