The tournament, which marked the first international PUBG Mobile event of the year, took place in Brazil and concluded on April 7, witnessing Reject's strategic gameplay and dominance over the three-day competition.

Reject's journey to the top of the PMGO 2024 was marked by consistency and skillful play, accumulating a total of 157 points through strategic victories, including two Chicken Dinners and an impressive tally of 94 eliminations. The team found their winning rhythm early in the tournament and maintained their superior form until the final moments. Reject's Reiji stood out as the tournament's Most Valuable Player (MVP), securing 34 eliminations and playing a pivotal role in the team's success. Alpha7 Esports, representing the host nation, showcased their prowess by securing the runner-up position. The team had a strong start with three wins on the opening day but faced challenges as the tournament progressed. Nonetheless, Revoo from Alpha7 Esports impressed with 32 eliminations, earning the team $50,000 in prize money.

 

Thailand's Vampire Esports claimed the third spot with their dynamic gameplay, securing 127 points, three Chicken Dinners, and 82 eliminations, to take home $30,000. Meanwhile, IHC Esports from Mongolia, the current world champions, placed fourth with a commendable effort throughout the tournament, earning $15,000 despite not securing any Chicken Dinners.

Turkish teams S2G Esports and IW NRX concluded the tournament in fifth and sixth places, respectively, closely followed by BOOM Esports and Team Falcons. South Korea’s Dplus KIA and China's Nova Esports, featuring the renowned duo Order and Paraboy, had mixed fortunes, with the former making a late surge to tenth place and the latter finishing twelfth.
