The Valorant Esports World Cup 2025 is all set to be one of the biggest Valorant events of the year. Taking place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, this S tier tournament will run from July 8 to July 13 and feature the top 16 teams from around the globe. With a massive prize pool of 1.25 million dollars and high stakes competition, the tournament promises world class gameplay and unforgettable moments.


The tournament will be hosted as part of the Esports World Cup festival and will feature some of the most dominant names in Valorant including Sentinels, Fnatic, Paper Rex, G2 Esports, and EDward Gaming. These organizations have made it through intense regional qualifiers and top performances in VCT Stage 1.

The participating teams for this edition include G2 Esports, Sentinels, NRG, 100 Thieves, XLG Esports, Bilibili Gaming, EDward Gaming, Titan Esports Club, Team Heretics, Fnatic, BBL Esports, Karmine Corp, RRQ, Gen.G Esports, Paper Rex, and DRX. With such a star studded lineup, the event is guaranteed to deliver intense and strategic gameplay throughout the week.

The tournament will begin with the Group Stage from July 8 to July 10. This phase will follow a double elimination format with four groups of four teams each. Every match in this phase will be a best of three, and only the top two teams from each group will advance to the Playoffs.

From July 11 to July 13, the Playoffs will take place. The eight remaining teams will compete in a single elimination bracket. Matches will remain best of three until the Grand Final, which will be played as a best of five showdown to crown the Valorant Esports World Cup champion.

The total prize pool for the tournament is a staggering one million two hundred fifty thousand dollars. The winning team will take home five hundred thousand dollars, while the second place finishers will receive two hundred thirty thousand. The rest of the prize money will be distributed among all sixteen teams based on their final standings.

Fourth place receives seventy thousand
Teams ranked fifth to eighth receive forty thousand each
