North American esports organisation Envy has announced plans to open a world-class performance lab in Fairview, Texas. The facility, located near the Allen Event Center, will feature high-end gaming setups and training spaces designed for esports teams to conduct intensive bootcamps and pre-event preparations.

Building a new home for esports excellence

Mike ‘Hastr0’ Rufail, owner of Envy, revealed that the lab will officially open its doors in November. It will serve as a dedicated training and development space for esports professionals, complete with three separate bootcamp rooms and access to cutting-edge equipment. The lab is positioned to become a hub for both domestic and international teams seeking premium facilities to practice ahead of tournaments.

“With hotels, grocery stores, restaurants, and retail outlets nearby, this location is perfect for bootcamps and single-day rentals,” Hastr0 said while announcing the project. The organisation also confirmed that the lab will be open for partnership opportunities, encouraging collaborations within the growing esports ecosystem.

Designed for professionals and open to the public

The Envy Performance Lab will be available for single-day rentals and extended bootcamps. While the initial focus is on professional teams, the organisation plans to open the facility to the public before the end of 2025, allowing local gamers and enthusiasts to experience high-end gaming infrastructure.

This initiative adds Envy to a growing list of esports organisations investing in physical training facilities. Earlier this year, Gaimin Gladiators opened a $1 million facility in Lisbon, Portugal, showcasing the global shift toward developing structured performance environments for players.

Envy’s continued growth and expansion

Since Hastr0 re-acquired the Envy brand in early 2025, the organisation has expanded into multiple competitive gaming titles. In July, Envy joined the partner programme for the fast-growing shooter title The Finals and began scouting potential Counter-Strike 2 rosters to mark its return to the iconic franchise.

Founded in 2007, Envy has long been regarded as one of North America’s most respected esports organisations. The new performance lab represents not just an infrastructure upgrade, but also a strategic move to strengthen its presence across competitive gaming and training operations.

As Envy continues to expand its footprint, the performance lab stands as a testament to its vision for developing professional talent and driving innovation in the esports industry.
