During a post-game interview with Neal "Tsunami" Khandheria and Maurice "KheZu" Gutmann, Andreas "Cr1t-" Nielsen from Team Falcons revealed an interesting flaw in the EPT Leaderboard format during the DreamLeague Season 22 group stage.

In the match against Shopify Rebellion on March 7th, Team Falcons had already secured their spot in the playoffs, while Shopify Rebellion was already eliminated from the tournament. Despite the match having no impact on the standings, Cr1t noted that if Team Falcons had intentionally lost, Shopify Rebellion would have surpassed Xtreme Gaming in the EPT standings, consequently boosting Team Falcons to the fourth position.

Cr1t expressed that it was odd that losing the series would have been more beneficial for their EPT standings. However, Team Falcons chose to maintain their competitive integrity and play to win, rather than exploit the flaw in the format.

As of now, Team Falcons holds the sixth position on the EPT Leaderboards with 1,680 points, while Xtreme Gaming sits comfortably in third place with 3,360 points.

Despite this flaw potentially affecting their standings, Team Falcons secured a top-three finish at DreamLeague Season 22. Even if Xtreme Gaming were to lose their series and get knocked out, they would still secure enough points to surpass Team Falcons.

Team Falcons' commitment to fair play and competitive integrity in Dota 2 is commendable, as they continue to strive for excellence through honest competition.
