Esports organization 1win has made a big step in its way and started its first tournament, the 1win Series Dota 2 Spring, which becomes one of the new additions to the Dota 2 esports events list this season. "This new event is being organized against a backdrop of significant turmoil in competitive Dota 2. Valve announced in February 2022 that it was axing DPC, its direct-to-pro circuit, in favor of phasing out a competitive system and licensing more tournament hosts to join the developing scene.

Event Overview: 1win Series Dota 2 Spring Tournament
- Prize Pool: A massive $100,000 USD reward will push all tournament participants to their maximum capacity. That is why the competition will be powerful.
- Dates: It will take place from March 16th to March 19th.
- Format: This tournament will feature eight teams divided into two groups of four. Moreover, the CS:GO IEM Katowice 2021 tournament will also be a double-elimination tournament with one round of robin and a double-elimination playoff. All matches in the tournament’s first round will be played in a best-of-one format. Those in the playoffs will be played in a best-of-three format. The final match will have a best of five.
