As the CS2 community gears up for the highly anticipated 100th IEM event, IEM Dallas 2024, excitement builds around the line-up of teams set to compete. Scheduled to take place from May 27 to June 2, this tournament will feature 16 of the world's best teams, all vying for a piece of the $250,000 prize pool.

 

The event will be hosted as part of Dreamhack Dallas 2024 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, promising a week of intense competitive play.

  • Complexity: Direct invite as an ESL Partner Team.
  • M80: Received a local hero invite, representing North America.

 

Qualified Teams:

Tournament Format and Additional Insights

The competition format includes initial BO1 matches, with subsequent matches, including the final, played as BO3. Teams are divided into two groups (A and B), with the top three teams from each group moving on to the playoffs. The group winners will directly enter the Semi-finals, second-place teams will start in the Quarter-finals with higher seeds, and the third-place teams will enter the Quarter-finals with lower seeds.

 

The tournament will also feature an updated active-duty map pool, reintroducing Dust 2 in place of Overpass. This change is expected to refresh strategies and gameplay dynamics.

 

What's at Stake

Beyond the prize money and the tournament title, the winner of IEM Dallas 2024 will automatically qualify for IEM Cologne 2024. Additionally, teams will compete for 1400 BLAST Premier points, adding another layer of competitiveness to the event.
