In an unexpected twist, the iQOO BGMI Pro Series LAN Event 2024 has undergone a significant change. The Last Chance Qualifier stage has been eliminated, meaning all finalists from the iQOO Pro Series will now directly compete at the LAN event scheduled from February 22nd–24th, 2024, at the Noida Indoor Stadium.

Initially, iQOO announced that 16 BGMI squads would participate in the LAN event. This included the top 11 teams from the Pro Series Finals, two invited outfits (Soul and GodLike), and the top three sides from the LCQ. However, with the LCQ phase removed, the 16 lineups from the Pro Series 2024 Finals and special invitees Soul and GodLike will clash in the three-day, INR 40 lakh contest.

The iQOO BGMI Pro Series so far

Entity Gaming, led by Saumraj, emerged as winners of the Pro Series Finals held on January 31st and February 1st, 2024. They will aim to continue their form and secure their first major BGMI title at the LAN Event. Team Soul secured second place at the Pro Series Finals. Teams XSpark and NinjaJod earned fifth position at the Pro Series and will look to capitalize on their momentum. While teams like Blind, Hydra, and OR struggled at the Pro Series, they see the LAN Event as an opportunity to redeem themselves. Disappointing performances from Gods Reign, Revenant, and GodLike mean these squads have a lot to prove at the LAN tournament.
