The Road to PMGC 2025
The BGMI Showdown 2025 is just days away, and the competition is already heating up as teams finalize their lineups. The stakes could not be higher. Winning BMSD guarantees a golden ticket straight to PMGC 2025, and every squad is determined to fight tooth and nail for the coveted spot.
Lineups Locked and Loaded
WyldFangs have taken the spotlight by securing the roster of Manya, Spraygod, Saif, Troye, and Whitetiger. This is the same squad currently competing under Global Esports at BGMS 2025, known for their dramatic last-match clutch that secured them a spot in the Grand Finals. After BGMS, they will officially compete under the WyldFangs name.
iQOO Revenant XSpark has built a powerhouse roster with Goten, Sensei, Fierce, Tracegod, and Fury. Meanwhile, iQOOSouL has gone all in with Nakul, Joker, Thunder, Legit, and Goblin, making them one of the most fearsome teams on paper.
Other lineups include HeroXtremeGodLike, who are sticking with their current squad, while iQOO8bit relies on Saumraj, Spower, Raiden, Aquanox, and Beast. iQOO Reckoning comes into the tournament with Dionysus, Shubh, Flawk, and Javin. Versatile lines up Ninja, Sarang, Rony, and Shadow. Victores Sumus features Owais, Mafia, Sam, Shayan, and Ninzae. Madkings bring Clutchgod, Shadow, Apollo, Pro, and Fragger. Genesis Esports is ready with Viper, Hunterz, Gravity, Zap, and Yash. Vasista Esports looks promising with Hector, ScaryJod, Pro, SahilOp, and Jasleen. OnePlus CincinnatiKids close their roster with Juicy, Saumay, Skipz, Zeref, and Zin.
One surprising absence is Global Esports. Despite playing BGMS 2025, they will not participate in BMSD this year. The organization has decided to sit out and reassess their return based on Krafton’s 2026 esports roadmap.
The Thunder Saga
Perhaps the most dramatic twist heading into BMSD involves Thunder. The star player terminated his contract with Victores Sumus on September 10 and his tenure officially ends on September 17, just one day before BMSD begins. Thunder has already secured a spot on iQOOSouL, which sets the stage for a fiery debut under his new team. His move instantly raises SouL’s firepower and makes them one of the favorites going into the tournament.
What to Expect at BMSD 2025
On paper, SouL looks stacked with raw firepower, Revenant XSpark boasts balance and cohesion, while WyldFangs carry momentum and clutch factor. Yet with a PMGC slot on the line, no team will hold back. Expect high-stakes battles, breakout performances, and plenty of surprises as BMSD 2025 unfolds.
The tournament is shaping up as the real proving ground of BGMI esports this year. Every lineup has something to prove, and with only one direct PMGC ticket up for grabs, the competition will be ruthless.
